Governor Obaseki formally announced his decision to resign his membership of the ruling party APC on Tuesday 16th June 2020. After he wasn't allowed to participate in the party governorship primaries.
Chief press secretary, Osagie added that the governor plans to contest this year's gubernatorial election under PDP.
And PDP has given him a ticket.
