JAMB SETS THE CUT-OFF MARK FOR UNIVERSITIES, POLYTECHNICS AND OTHER TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS.

The joint admission and matriculation board(JAMB) has announced 160 as the cut-off mark for admission into Nigerian universities for the 2020/2021 academic session.
The board said the cut-off mark for polytechnics is 120, while that of colleges of Education and other innovative institutions stands at 100.

The Jamb registrar, Ishaq Oloyede, said at the 2020 policy meeting on Tuesday, that 612,557 candidates were offered admission in 2019 out of 1.8m that wrote the examination. 
He said candidates waiting for their results will only be considered when they are uploaded on it's website. 

In his remarks, the minister of Education, Adamu Adamu directed JAMB and tertiary institutions to proceed with the conduct of 2020/2021 admission.
