The Association of persons with disability Aba south local government area of Abia state represented but their chairman Evang. Ifeanyi sunday and other Excos, Ijeoma Ochoma, Nneka Uchendu and Osondu I Okoro paid a Courtesy visit to Buzz FM 89.7 with the general manager Stanley Mba, the Admin omiko ,the Head of Programs Ben Angel, the Head of Engineering,Mr. David in attendance.
The general manager Stanley mba started by welcoming them into the station and profiles the CEO as a man who helping the society and those in need is one of his utmost priority, he also thanked them for reaching out to buzz 89.7 and also let them know that in as much as we deliver the news to people , buzz also that buzz also supports people and he also made them to understand that buzz FM doesn't take side when it comes to delivering content.
He told them that he received their letter in good faith and will definitely get it to the appropriate channel.
He now urged the chairman in the of the association to say something as regards to the what they came for.
The chairman started by thanking the CEO John Okorocha , For bringing a station like Buzz FM in the city of Aba, and thanking him for his support toward the society, he also urged the management to extend the time for Igbo programs, as its entertaining and educative and have impacts on the society at large, he also urged that they should introduce festive programs that have to do with communities eg ohafia, item and abiriba, he also pleaded that they should assist them with palliatives like, wheel chair, walking stick and food items
As it will go a long way in helping them.
However, the general manager said he heard all they have said and said he will relate it to the CEO and get back to them in a short while.
Ijeoma ochoma who is also one of the excos gave a vote of thanks and expressed her joy on the welcome as she said that not everyone they sent a letter reached out to them and prayed that God should bless Buzz and its management.
